On 16 February 2026, General Secretary Claire Landesmann and Head of Secretariat Henrique Raskin met with Österreichischer Schwerhörigenbund (ÖSB), EFHOH’s Austrian member organisation, for a work visit.
The visit provided an important opportunity to learn more about the organisation’s ongoing activities, their national advocacy efforts, and current projects for supporting the Austrian hard of hearing community. Experiences at the national and international levels on key challenges were exchanged, including accessibility, hearing health and leadership engagement.
Discussions also focused on strengthening cooperation in 2026, identifying areas for closer collaboration. Sharing perspectives and aligning priorities help ensure that advocacy efforts are mutually reinforcing and responsive to the needs of hard of hearing people across Europe.
