EFHOH runs campaigns to raise awareness and improve the lives of hard-of-hearing people across Europe. Our goal is to make sure everyone has equal rights, access, and opportunities—no matter their level of hearing.
What We Campaign For
We focus on key issues that affect hard-of-hearing people, including:
- Better access to hearing aids and assistive technology – We push for fair prices and funding.
- Subtitles and captions – We promote accessible media, TV, and online content.
- Hearing loops and accessibility – We campaign for hearing-friendly public spaces.
- Equal rights in education and work – We fight for inclusion in schools and jobs.
- Health and hearing care – We raise awareness about hearing loss prevention and early diagnosis.
How We Take Action
EFHOH works at the European level to create change. We:
