Virtual Lunch Debate: World Hearing Day 2026 – From School to Workplace

We would like to invite you to the Virtual Lunch Debate from the European Parliament, entitled “World Hearing Day 2026 – From School to Workplace”, taking place on 05 March 2026.

The event is jointly organised by the European Association of Hearing Aid Professionals, the European Federation of Hard of Hearing People, and the European Hearing Instrument Manufacturer Association, and hosted by MEP Katrin Langensiepen.

Building on the framework of World Hearing Day 2026, the discussion will explore the impact of hearing loss and hearing care across the life course, with a particular focus on the transition from education to employment, job retention, empowerment, and inclusive workplaces. Policymakers, civil society representatives, international organisations, and sector experts will exchange perspectives on how hearing health supports equal participation in education and the labour market.
