Launch of EFHOH’s Hearing Loss Inclusive Employment Toolkit
We are pleased to invite you to the webinar “Inclusive Employment and Hearing Loss: Introducing EFHOH’s Employment Toolkit”, taking place on 26 May 2026.
The webinar is organised by EFHOH and builds on the launch of the Hearing Loss Inclusive Employment Toolkit in April 2026.
The session will introduce the key messages, recommendations, and practical guidance developed through the toolkit to support employers in creating more inclusive and accessible workplaces for hard of hearing people.
Employment remains a key area where hard of hearing people continue to face barriers, including communication barriers, lack of awareness and limited access to reasonable accommodations. Through this webinar, participants will explore how inclusive workplace practices can help foster equal opportunities, participation, and retention of hard of hearing employees.
Bringing together policy perspectives, practical examples, and lived experiences, the webinar will provide insights into how employers, organisations, and stakeholders can better support hard of hearing employees and strengthen inclusion in the workplace.
Designed to offer both strategic reflections and concrete actions, this session will be valuable for employers, policymakers, disability advocates, HR professionals, and anyone committed to advancing inclusive employment.
Date: 26 May 2026
Time: 16:00 – 17:30 CEST

The webinar will be supported by Real-Time Speech-to-Text captioning to ensure accessibility.
