On 19 March 2026, UN Women, together with ATscale, launched the policy brief “Unlocking HER Potential: Gender equality through equitable access to assistive technology” at a high-level side event during the 70th session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW70) in New York.
The brief highlights that access to assistive technology is essential for the full enjoyment of human rights and a key enabler of gender equality across the life course.
EFHOH contributed to the consultation process, helping ensure that the perspectives of women with hearing loss are reflected.
