EFHOH is pleased to share an important achievement: our Hearing Loss Inclusive Employment Toolkit is now available on the European Commission’s Disability Employment Package webpage.

The toolkit, co-created with people with hearing loss, provides practical guidance for employers, employees, policymakers and public authorities. It promotes reasonable accommodation, accessible communication and inclusive workplace practices, from simple and no-cost adjustments to professional support such as captioning and assistive listening systems.

Its inclusion on the European Commission’s website represents important recognition of EFHOH’s work and strengthens the visibility of the employment barriers experienced by people with hearing loss. It also helps bring practical, experience-based solutions developed by organisations of persons with disabilities into wider European policy and workplace practice.

The toolkit is available under “Guidelines of EU-level organisations of persons with disabilities” on the European Commission’s Disability Employment Package webpage.

EFHOH thanks the European Commission for promoting this guidance and supporting the visibility of practical resources developed by organisations of persons with disabilities.
