EFHOH is pleased to announce the launch of the German version of the Inclusive Employment Toolkit for Hard of Hearing People.

The toolkit supports more inclusive workplaces and employment services by providing practical guidance on improving accessibility, communication, and equal opportunities for hard of hearing people. Developed with input from hard of hearing experts, it aims to help employers and other stakeholders better understand and address the barriers experienced by hard of hearing people in employment.

Making resources available in national languages is an important step towards ensuring that knowledge and good practices reach a wider audience across Europe. A Polish translation is currently under development, further expanding the toolkit’s accessibility.

The launch of the German version will be highlighted during the Disability Employment Package Mutual Learning Seminar for Employment Services, taking place in Berlin on 1-2 September 2026. During the event, Lidia Best, President of EFHOH, will present EFHOH’s work on the toolkit and discuss the importance of customised support for hard of hearing people.

EFHOH welcomes volunteers interested in supporting translations into additional languages. If you would like to contribute to making the toolkit available across Europe, please contact us at office@efhoh.org.
