Celebrating Hearing Access Week also means learning how technology can break barriers.

EFHOH President Lidia Best highlighted at the Zero Project Conference 2026 how emerging solutions can make public spaces more accessible for people who are hard of hearing.

Together with the International Association for Hearing Accessibility (IAHA) Chairman Andrew Thomas, Lidia Best examined the obstacles that still limit full participation and showcased how innovative Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) are creating real opportunities for inclusion and equal access.
