At the Annual General Meeting 2026 in Brussels, EFHOH members elected new Board members for the upcoming mandate.

We warmly welcome and congratulate two new Board members:

  • Ida Hansson, representing the Swedish Association of Hard of Hearing Young People (Unga Hörselskadade), who is actively engaged in youth advocacy, working to strengthen the participation and representation of young hard of hearing people at the national and European level.
  • Paulina Lewandowska, representing SUITA from Poland, who brings extensive experience in national and international cooperation within the hard of hearing movement. Paulina has been actively involved in IFHOHYP for more than 10 years, serving previously as Secretary, and currently serves as Vice-President of SUITA, focusing on advocacy, partnerships, and inclusion projects.

We are particularly encouraged to see strong youth representation and female leadership reflected in the new Board, reinforcing EFHOH’s commitment to inclusion, diversity, and intergenerational engagement within the movement.

We also extend our warm gratitude to former Board Member Alf Lindberg for his dedication and valuable contributions over the years. As he stepped down from the Board at the AGM, his commitment to EFHOH and the hard of hearing community is sincerely appreciated and he will still be involved as an external advisor monitoring the EAA and AVMSD.

We look forward to working together to continue strengthening EFHOH’s work across Europe.
