EFHOH representation within EDF governance
The election of Jonathan Elebjörk Wahlström strengthens EFHOH’s continued engagement within EDF governance structures. It ensures the presence of expertise from the hard of hearing community at both Board level and within the Executive Committee, which holds a central role in EDF’s daily management and operational decision-making.
Jonathan’s representation in EDF’s governance structure is also important in strengthening the participation and visibility of people with hearing loss within the broader European disability movement. It reinforces their voices in the dialogue and cooperation with European institutions and stakeholders.
EFHOH looks forward to continued cooperation with EDF and its newly elected Board and Executive Committee in the coming mandate, with the shared objective of strengthening the rights, inclusion, and participation of persons with disabilities across Europe.
