EFHOH congratulates Karina Chupina and Tania Galián on their appointment to two important committees of the European Disability Forum (EDF) following the recent EDF Board meeting held on 24-25 October 2026.
Karina Chupina has been appointed as a full member of the EDF Women’s Committee, representing EFHOH. The Committee works to ensure that the rights and perspectives of women and girls with disabilities are fully integrated into EDF policies and advocacy activities.
At the same time, Tania Galián has been appointed as a full member of the EDF Youth Committee, representing EFHOH. The Committee serves as the voice of young persons with disabilities within EDF and ensures that youth perspectives are reflected in the organisation’s work and advocacy.
These appointments reflect EFHOH’s ongoing commitment to ensuring that the perspectives of hard of hearing people are represented in key European disability policy discussions. Through Karina’s and Tania’s participation, EFHOH looks forward to contributing to EDF’s work on youth engagement, gender equality and the rights of persons with disabilities.
