During its Annual General Meeting 2026, EFHOH was proud to welcome three new member organisations to its expanding European network:
- National Association of the Deaf (Associazione Nazionale Sordi – ANS, Italy) – founded in 2013, ANS promotes the rights, dignity, and inclusion of hard of hearing people in Italy, working across accessibility, education, employment, and social participation in line with international human rights frameworks, including the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
- Gozo Association for the Deaf (GAD, Malta) – established in 1988, Gozo Association for the Deaf supports hard of hearing individuals in Gozo through advocacy, education, and community services, and has played a key role in developing local audiology and speech therapy services.
- Association of Children with Bionic Ears (Biyonik Kulaklı Çocuklar Derneği, Türkiye) – an organisation bringing together children with cochlear implants and their families in Turkey, advocating for access to hearing technologies, rehabilitation, and inclusive education.
Welcoming three new member organisations reflects the continued expansion of EFHOH and collaboration of the European hard of hearing community, reinforcing a more connected network working together to advance inclusion, accessibility, and equal participation of hard of hearing people across Europe.
